Abstract:
Industrial exploitation of the IoT at large scale requires a radical reduction of the cost to configure IoT peripherals and to integrate them instantly with cloud services for sensor data collection, processing and visualization. In this talk we will present VersaSense MicroPnP, the standards-compliant and low-power Sensing-as-a-Service solution for zero-configuration IoT peripherals (plug-and-play), scalable and 24/7 monitoring and control of devices across different sites, and secure end-to-end communication. We will illustrate and demonstrate how VersaSense technology was successfully applied in industrial IoT applications for building automation, manufacturing control and precision farming.
