Profile
Within the Electrical Engineering discipline of the University of Twente, research on wireless communications is centered around the Radio Systems group. This group combines expertise on radio propagation and channel modelling, antenna systems and signal processing. In close cooperation with industry and academic partners, research is done on 5G/6G, wireless sensor networks, antenna design, channel characterization and emulation, and wireless sensing. The group is strongly connected to other research groups that focus on digital and analog realizations, protocols and networks, which gives it a unique position in the design and analysis of radio systems.
