The Radio Networks research unit, part of the Department of Communication Information Systems and Sensors (CISS) at the Royal Military Academy, is actively engaged in both national and international projects, including those with EDF, EDA, and NATO.
The unit’s primary focus is on the physical and MAC layers of communication systems.
Currently, the research unit is working in several critical areas: tactical radio networks, counter-UAV technologies, jamming, satellite communication, indoor positioning, and 5G technology.
