Abstract:
With yooBee, BlooLoc has a technology for accurate indoor positioning of smartphones and active tags. yooBee is tuned for a range of applications, such as large venue navigation, person and asset tracking, person flow analysis for retail applications. yooBee uses proprietary Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons and reaches the holy grail of indoor positioning errors (less than 1m). The ability of yooBee to determine the direction, next to the position, offers a new dimension to person behavior analysis.
yooBee is easy to setup and to maintain. It does not require any cabling, nor battery replacements as its beacons harvest energy from ambient light. The signals originating from these devices are analyzed and contribute to the accuracy of the positioning.
yooBee ‘s low investment and operating cost, makes it suitable for large venues such as airports, campuses, hospitals, supermarkets, etc but also for small shops.
